After boxing day deals

After an exciting year, we come to a new start to a new year. I am sure most people had the opportunity to view deals during boxing week. In general, deals can be found all year round, not just the week.

I will review deals from different categories that may catch some interest to viewers.

Household:
Dyson DC30, $98.99, Walmart. In store only. This is a great cordless handheld vacuum. Great suction, good for usages for automotives. Charge time: 3.5 hrs and last about 10 mins of full cyclone power with no suction loss! There is at least ten in stock at the local store at current time

Toys:

Megabloks , Thomas train sets, board games and misc toy are all CLEARANCE, with up to 60% off ,and buy one get one free at SEARS. I am not really big on toys and only picked these up as future presents. ( I hope the people who recieves these presents do not read this blog). I bought 2 of the highest value sets which is the: Mercades-mclaren formula 1 vehicle set 6702 for under $30 for both.  Where the 50% and  BOGOF both applied

Toys r us has this exact set selling at retail for $59 EACH.




Electronics:
Blackberry Playbook 16GB BUNDLE, $224.87, at THE SOURCE.  The deal in general is warm at most.  The Playbook is featured everywhere for $199, but this case has a value of $60.  For an OEM case for just a quarter more, it is a worthy post.  The Playbook's future seemed like an HP touchpad, where the it became extinct with little support from the parent company.  But as time progressed from these fire sales, these little playbooks pack a big punch.  Fast processor, full hdmi out, fluent camera, and upgrades that will make this berry last in the tablet field.  The next upgrade is said to link over to the android market.  Be sure to look for that!

Automotive:
Dunlop Graspic D3 Winter Tires, 50% off.  Walmart selection and sizes vary, in store only.  Only the Langford store carries it.  We know it does not snow much, or at all in Victoria.  At this price, it does not hurt to have the worst prepared.

I think that is it for now.  TVs, Games, and major electronics are on sale almost everywhere.  So look at your local flyer for those deals.  Notable mentions is Sears, 50% all gaming software.

Rain-X De-icer fluid $3 off coupon at Canadian Tire.  The winter breeze has not left us yet, and clear visibility is always important.  This coupon drops the price of this fluid to $1.49.  For the month of Jan only.

Seasonal:
Christmas items are clearance everywhere.  All Christmas related items such as: trees, wrapping paper, decorations, chocolate, clothing, toys and being liquidated at most retail chains.  Buy  a tree now for a fraction of the price in preparation for next year which is approximately  330 days!
